Geriatric Dog and Cat Program

At Dr. Battier’s we know how expensive veterinary care for your older pet can be. With cost concerns in mind, we formed our geriatric program to help give your older pet the best care while helping you save money. This program includes two visits, two blood panels, urinalysis, fecal test, and heartworm test, two x-rays, and toe nail trims at a 30% discount. We recommend physicals exams six months apart on older dogs due to the rapid changes their bodies undergo as they age.  With older dogs and cats we also like to do blood tests every 6 month and urine tests once a year to make sure their liver, kidneys, heart, thyroid, and other organs are all working as they should. Please call our office at 805-987-7110 for more information.

The first visit includes: physical exam, complimentary vaccine (if needed), a full blood panel,  urinalysis with cystocentesis, two radiographs, and a toe nail trim.

The second visit includes: medical progress exam, recheck blood work, fecal test, heartworm test, and a toe nail trim.
